• 6 Across - 99887: To form the greatest 5-digit number using digits 9,8,7, arrange them in descending order: 9,9,8,8,7 → 99887.
• 8 Across - EIGHT: Even numbers follow the pattern 2,4,6,8,10... The next number after 6 is 8 (spelled EIGHT).
