✨ Yavadunam for Cubes + (a+b)³ Ratio Method ✨

Anurupyena (Ratio) Yavadunam Cubing (a+b)³ Expansion

Anurupyena (Cubing)

ĀNURŪPYENA — “Proportionality / Ratio Method”

Based on (a+b)³ = a³ + 3a²b + 3ab² + b³
For numbers near a base, use ratio of digits. Example: 15³ = (1·10 + 5)³ = 1000 + 3×100×5 + 3×10×25 + 125 = 3375.
Lightning cubing for 2-digit numbers!

Yavadunam for Cubes

YĀVADŪNAM TĀVADŪNĪKṚTYA GHANAM

Extension of squaring to cubes: For base 100, find deficiency d. Cube = (N - 2d) | 3d² | d³ (adjust carry). Example: 98³ = (98-4)=94 | 3×4²=48 | 64 → 941192. Works perfectly!

Binomial Cube

(a+b)³ = a³ + 3a²b + 3ab² + b³

Universal algebraic identity applied for quick cubing. Split number into parts: 12³ = (10+2)³ = 1000 + 3×100×2 + 3×10×4 + 8 = 1728. Easy mental steps!

Core Cubing Formula — Anurupyena Ratio Method

For a 2-digit number ab (a = tens, b = ones) :
(10a + b)³ = a³×1000 + 3a²b×100 + 3ab²×10 + b³
Or directly using ratio: if a=1, b=5 → ratio 1:5 → terms = 1, 15, 75, 125 → adjust carries → 3375.
