choose a word in any one of the first nine lines and the first nine words of that line.

Ask the friend to multiply the number of the page by 2, and then 5; 

then to add 20; 

next add the number of the line, 

add 5 to that sum, and multiply by 10; 

finally to add the number of the word in the line, and to give you the result.

You can open the book to the page of the line and show the friend the word selected.
