Now you write the total add 1 to the right side --12573

Subtract 1 from the 4 digit number

12573-1=12572

Ask second one to write another 4 digit

Now your helper write the number 9 complement of third 4 digit number

9-5= 4 ; 9-6=3 ; 9-4=5 ; 9-8=1
