1) Making a belt - Take a thick paper sheet of length 14 cm and width 9 cm we can take a old post card. Find the areas Find the perimeter. Now cut strips join the strips end to end to make a belt of equal sizes and find the length of each belt and find out whose belt is longest
Learning objective The aim of the belt activity is to understand that the things with the same area can take different forms and also have very different perimeter
Pre-requisite knowledge of to area and perimeter
Materials required post card and scissor
